Carlos Negrete, the lawyer for Trimedica International has just lost a BIG ONE.
This was in the California Court of Appeal - 4th District.
March 27, 2003. He tried to get the case against them kicked out of court based on the notion that anyone who tried to stop companies from selling herbs was violating their right to free speech guaranteed under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.

Consumerlab.Com Finds 'Breast Enhancement' Pills Lack Evidence of Efficacy
- April 17, 2002
ConsumerLab.com announced today that it found no hard evidence to suggest that current
dietary supplements marketed for breast enhancement are effective. Its findings appear in a Review Article on its site, in which
scientific literature and product information were analyzed. Unlike ConsumerLab.com's typical Product Reviews in which
supplements and nutrition products are subjected to laboratory testing, ConsumerLab.com found no basis to proceed with testing of
breast enhancement products as none could be recommended.
Playing to Our Vanity - Los Angeles Times - Jan. 14, 2002
Can pills containing a special blend of natural herbs increase a woman's cleavage, making breasts firmer and more attractive,
without the need for surgical implants or a breast lift? A host of ads and infomercials beckon with claims that such products
can transform a woman's breasts, enabling the user to "gain back the firmness you had as a teenager."
Canadian radio personality hawks bigger breasts
On Thursday, February 24, 2000, Rebecca Powley a spokesperson for two natural herbal products appeared on a highly promoted edition of "McLean on the Line", on CKGL NEWSTALK-570 radio in Kitchener.
The Grobust show made it perfectly clear that you can fool all of the people some of the time. "McLean on the line" demonstrated that even the most gullible among us would not only purchase herbal remedies to do wonderous things, but that a talk show host would again be willing participant in that effort.
Rebecca Powley of POW Products, and Wayne McLean gave away two bottles of the magic herbal formulas, and answered questions from many in the listening audience who were interested. There were a few skeptics. There were no experts. The show was a fine example of what the health fraud industry is all about. But, it's par for the course for AM radio in North America.
So, led by our trusty quacksniffing dog, Herby, we tracked down the principles in the companies involved in the promotion, and who really owns the marketing rights to sell and distribute the herbal products.
The major player, Mountain Top Herbs is actually based in Utah, with web sites hosted in St. Louis, Missouri. It seems that there are dozens of natural food, MLM, and now herbal companies that are apparently flocking to Utah.

Bustin' Out - The ABCs and DDs of breast enlargement - Karen Olssen - A Body Parts - The Breasts
This is a story of a call made to the home of someone who obviously didn't like what she heard on the other end of the phone. It was from a company who thought it was a good idea.
"She told me that
all small breasts are the result of some sort of snafu in the
growth process, be it a bad diet, hormonal irregularities, or any
number of other possible breast-arresters. "Mmm-hmmm," I said. (That's
yeah right, bitch translated into phone language.) I felt insulted. Our
conversation deteriorated. She went on about how some really pricey
creams or pills (I don't remember which) would kick-start the natural
growth process and "restore" me to my bulbous natural state."
Bigger Breasts or Your Money Back! - Carolyn Strange - A Women's Body
Q: I've been
searching the Web
for information
about natural ways
to enlarge my
breasts, and I found
some pills
advertised to do
this. You take them
for three to six
months and they're supposed to increase
your breast size by one to three cup sizes.
I'm wondering if there are any negative side
effects.
A: The only 100-percent-guaranteed effect is
indeed negative. It's not physiologic but
economic: Money will leave your pocket.
There's no scientific literature
regarding breast-enlarging concoctions. They don't need you or anyone else to get results.
All they need is an ever-renewing cycle of suckers. If
it actually does seem to work every so often, so much
the better.
